How to report helicopter noise

NoiseWatch is an independent public record of community-reported helicopter noise. Reporting takes a few seconds and does not require an account.

Report in three steps

1. Choose Report helicopter noise now.
2. Allow approximate location when your browser asks. NoiseWatch rounds coordinates before storing them.
3. If the noise continues, report again. Each additional report extends the recorded noise window.

What is recorded

Each report stores the time and an approximate area. Reports are grouped into noise windows when nearby reports arrive close together in time.

What is published

The public map and charts show rounded areas and counts, not addresses, names, or contact details. Report density indicates where people are reporting noise, not confirmed flight paths.

Can I change my mind?

Yes. While a noise window is still active, you can withdraw your own report from the noise windows list on the map.
